Slippers

This past week-end was a wonderful time for us :) Dad got to go riding/bear hunting, Joe and Kaylena went 4-wheeling, Karissa, Duane, Luanna JaLynn and I all went hiking while mom and David went to a couple garage sales.
It was such a beautiful day and for JaLynn it was extra special because while mom was at a garage sale she found a special little free 'gift' for JaLynn-which thrilled her!
So meet Slippers!!
You can see why they named her slippers :)
Yes, she does have extra toes *smile*
The little girls have been wanting a kitty for a long time but with our dogs we didn't think that it would be a good idea, but how could you resist those cute little antics?

So now we have an extra little joy for the girls, and so far they are enjoying every minute of it! (And of course, David enjoys her too!)

How cute! Our dad put down his foot when it came to cats...unless it was an ocelot, but mom put her foot down on that...thanks to the presence of her chickens! :D

It sounds like ya'll are had a wonderful day. One question though...how could Joe and Kaylena choose 4 wheelers over horses?! ;-)

Also, would you consider giving us an update about Kim and her wedding?

Many blessings on your family!

I have never been fond of cats, and much to my chagrin there is an over abundance of them running around here. That kitty I will have to say, though, is one of those rare cute ones! How does Slippers get along with the dogs? Is it sweet? Ours are not sweet, and the only sweet one we had died last week. I think it was the only cat death ever that the majority of the family was sad about.

Oh, how sweet. I love little kittens.
We miss you all so much and we think of you often.
Do you have any pictures from Kim's wedding?
Love,
Elizabeth
